Paul B. Freedman, CPA, is Managing Director of New Business Development in the Accounting & Audit Services Group. Additionally, he serves as a consultant to both privately held businesses and public owned companies, advising them in the area of financing including both conventional bank loans as well as public offerings. Mr. Freedman’s expertise in public offerings entails both those in the U.S. markets as well as in London. His practice concentration has long included litigation support, providing forensic accounting services and expert testimony. Mr. Freedman was a former Managing Partner for a National CPA firm, and had his own practice in excess of twenty years prior to joining Morison Cogen LLP. While with the National firm, Mr. Freedman established a division which provided services to commercial lenders, most notably providing field examinations, reviewing borrowers’ collateral. A similar division has now been established at Morison Cogen LLP under Mr. Freedman’s direction. Most recently he held the title of Chief Financial Officer and was a member of the Board of Directors of a biotech company in Southern New Jersey, whose shares trade on the London Stock Exchange. A graduate of Temple University, Mr. Freedman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He is active as a service provider to the Commercial Finance Association both regionally and nationally. |

Oxana Holubowsky, CPA, is a manager of the Accounting and Audit Services Group. As manager, she advises publicly-held and privately owned companies on financial, tax and operational matters. Ms. Holubowsky began her career at Morison Cogen LLP, in 2001, serving as an associate and supervisor until being named a manager in 2009. Oxana’s practice concentration includes auditing of public and closely-held companies in the pharmaceutical, distribution and manufacturing sectors, as well as auditing of employee benefit plans and development stage companies. A maxima cum laude graduate of LaSalle University, she holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Oxana is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs and serves on the Board of Directors of the Ukranian Federal Credit Union of Philadelphia. |

Tina Lim, Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (FCPA), is a manager of the Accounting and Audit Services Group and SEC and International Practice Group. She advises publicly held companies in the United States and abroad with a concentration of Chinese operating companies listed in the US. Tina spent the first three years of her career as an auditor with Ernst & Young (Singapore) before her foray into the corporate world. Thereafter, she spent several years as an accounting manager and finance head of corporate offices and business units of publicly held companies in Singapore in various industries – property development, trading, food and beverages and manufacturing. She was involved as finance head in the preparation of the Initial Public Offering of an electronic manufacturing service provider in the Singapore Exchange in 2004. Subsequent to the successful public offering in 2005, she continued to serve as its Director of Finance & Corporate Services until 2007 when she joined Morison Cogen. A graduate of the National University of Singapore, she holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Tina also obtained a master’s degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2000. |

Christi W. Machese, CPA, is a manager of the Accounting and Audit Services Group. As manager, she advises closely held businesses and not-for-profit organizations on financial, tax and operational matters. Additionally, Christi specializes in providing benefit plan audit services to companies in both the public and private sectors. Ms. Machese began her career at Morison Cogen LLP, in 2000, serving as an associate and supervisor until being named a manager in 2009. Christi’s practice concentration includes accounting and auditing of employee benefit plans, non-profit groups, as well as companies in manufacturing and construction. A 1999 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, she holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs as well as a member of the PICPA Employee Benefit Plan Committee. |

A manager of the Tax Service Group, Pasquale A. Miller, CPA, MST, is responsible for researching and reviewing federal, state and multi-state income tax compliance and planning matters. He evaluates their impact on closely-held businesses, publicly-held companies, not-for-profit organizations and high net worth individuals. Mr. Miller offers over 30 years’ experience in both the public accounting and corporate sectors. He began his career in 1967 with Morison Cogen, serving as an associate, then supervisor and later, manager of the Accounting & Audit Service Group. He left in 1988 to join James Lewis Corporation, Berwyn, as chief financial officer. In 1992 he returned to Morison Cogen as supervisor of the Tax Service Group before being promoted in 2001 to manager. Mr. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, major in accounting, from LaSalle University. He also holds a masters of science in taxation degree from Widener University. He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of CPAs. |

Suzanne McKenna, CPA, is a manager of the Accounting and Audit Services Group. As manager, she advises closely held businesses, public companies and not-for-profit organizations on financial, tax and operational matters. Additionally, Suzanne specializes in providing benefit plan audit services to companies in both the public and private sectors. Internally, Suzanne is active in the firm’s technology enhancement program and coordinates employee development events. Ms. McKenna began her career at Morison Cogen LLP, in 1998, serving as an associate and supervisor until being named a manager in 2010. Suzanne’s practice concentration includes accounting and auditing of non-profit groups, professional service firms, as well as distribution and manufacturing companies. A graduate of University of Scranton, she holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs. |

Andrew L. Long, CPA, is a manager of the Accounting and Audit Services Group. As manager, he advises closely held businesses and not-for-profit organizations on financial, tax and operational matters. Additionally, he specializes in providing investigatory litigation support services for class action and bankruptcy matters. Mr. Long began his career at Morison Cogen LLP, in 1997, serving as an associate and supervisor until being named a manager in 2010. Andrew’s practice concentration includes accounting and auditing of for-profit companies, non-profit organizations and pension plans. He also assists the Litigation Support Group with their caseload. Scott C. Schoenstadt, CPA, is Senior Manager of the Tax Services Group. As senior manager he specializes in providing strategic tax planning, research, and compliance services for S corporations, partnerships, closely held corporations, non profit organizations, individuals and estates and trusts. Mr. Schoenstadt directs the firm's compliance with tax policies and procedures as well as all federal, state and local tax regulations. He also manages the personnel and workload of the firm's tax department and is one of the firm's CPE instructors responsible for educating staff on new tax law changes and more advanced tax related matters. Mr. Schoenstadt has been practicing accounting and providing consulting services to Philadelphia-based businesses for over 25 years. Prior to joining Morison Cogen LLP, in 2011, he was a Senior Manager at a national independent accounting firm. A graduate of Millersville University, Scott holds a bachelor of arts degree in accounting. He is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of CPAs and is also a member of the AICPA tax section. |
